What is the mission of the Warrenton Youth Soccer Club? The founders of WYSC created the league as a place where children of all ages and abilities could learn about sports while having fun. The emphasis is on learning, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Looking for an activity for your child to do during spring break??  WYSC's Summer Soccer Camp is the perfect camp held July 13-17.  The camp is going to be coached by Coach Sergio Guzman, he has coached at Wakefield H.S, Virginia United Soccer Academy, and Culmore Soccer camps. 

WYSC's Spring Break Soccer camps training sessions will consist of techniques based on the methodology from Brazil, Argentina, Peru, and the United States.  Each day will consist of different techniques, such as receiving, trapping, shooting, and technical circuit training.  At the end of the camp players will have gained confidence and experience to face new challenges in soccer.

Soccer Clinic Itinerary*

  Day 1

  • Lower body and global coordination-Brazilian warm-ups
  • Technical development- game situations- passing, receiving and trapping
  • Tactical postioning analogy
  • Speed of thought- 4 basic concept of Brazilian soccer 
  • Game conditioning

  Day 2 

  • Brazilian warm-up with the ball
  • Shooting
  • Application in the technical circuit training
  • Game situation, developing marking and attacking abilities 1v1
  • Introdution and development of the team compactness

  Day 3

  • Argentina warm up with the ball ( Rondos)
  • Small game dribbling, pass ball control techniques
  • Game situations in a small field
  • Game situations

  Day 4

  • Spain warm up with the ball coordination
  • Technique development
  • Possession of the ball
  • 3v3 and foot communication
  • 4v4 movement of the team

  Day 5

  • WYSC warm up
  • Technique Individual-Group
  • Possession of ball 3v3, 4v4, 5v5
