Registration

Fall Recreational Soccer Season
  

Children must be born between 1/1/2002 and 12/31/2017 to play this season.

To take advantage of our best price of the season players should register in the super saver period. Players save $30 off the regular registration fees

Note: Select players will only pay Select dues not club dues

New to WYSC's Fall Recreational Soccer Season; 

WYSC U6 Mini Kicks program will have weekly practices coached by WYSC's Director of Coaching Sergio Guzman along with the volunteer coach and assistant coaches for the team. 

U6 players will still be able to select if they would like to play on Saturday or Sunday. Games will be run 4v4 and played with 10 minute quarters. Volunteer coaches are needed and will be able to be on the field to help coach the kids. No referee's will be assigned to this age group.

WYSC's U8 in-house soccer league will be run using an academy style technique. Teams will have once a week practice for 1.5 hours each week. The first 40 minutes the teams will work as a group on technical skills coached by WYSC's Director of Coaching Sergio Guzman along with the teams volunteer coach and assistant coaches. The second half of the practice the teams will separate into individual teams and work on the teams aspect of soccer. All U8 sessions will be held on Wednesday or Thursday's. 

Players in the U8 division can select Saturday or Sunday game days. No scores or standings will be held in this division. 

 WYSC will continue to play in the Suburban Friendship League (SFL) after our first successful season. SFL is a soccer league centered in Northern Virginia, to provide a range and variety of competition for the club’s U12 to U19 recreational teams.  SFL is organized around gender-specific age groups including U11, U12, U13, U14, U16, and U19.  SFL operates several divisions per age group to promote competitive play. Teams will play half the games at Athey sports complex and the other half at the opposing team's fields.

WYSC will be putting the following teams for the Fall season;

Payment can be by credit card or a check/ cash can be mailed or dropped off at 365 W. Shirley Ave in Warrenton WITHIN 5 days of registration. No player will be placed on a team before payment is completed.

REFUNDS must be requested using our refund request form by July 31, 2020 for the Fall season and ALL refunds no matter what the reason are charged a $25 processing fee. No Refunds will be granted after July 31, 2020 for the Fall season.

Everyone ages up in the fall.  The age division for fall 2020 - Spring 2021 are listed in the table below by year of birth

C = Coed, B = Boys, G = Girls

Coaching

Volunteers to coach or assistant coach must register to coach on-line in order to complete the mandatory bakcground check.  Volunteers can register by clicking ...........{Here}.  Coaches will be contacted with team information in late July.  Coaches or assistant coaches need to plan on attending the MANDATORY Coaches meetings. 

All new coaches are encouraged to obtain a Matching coaching license for the age group they are coaching. Click .......{Here} to read WYSC's remibursment policy

• U8 needs a 4v4 course or "F" License
• U10 needs a 7v7 Course or "F" License
• U12 needs a 9v9 Course or "E" License
• U13 and older needs a 11v11 Course or "E" Course

These course can be taken online and can be completed at VYSA.com.  Upon completion of the Online course WYSC will refund you the cost of the course.  Coaches must submit the completed certificate and recepit to Lisa at Lgarner@wysc.org to receive a refund.

Scholarships

At WYSC, we believe that all children should have the opportunity to participate in sports regardless of their financial ability. If your family is experiencing financial setbacks, WYSC will accept scholarship vouchers from the Fauquier County Parks and Recreational Department.  Please contact your local Parks and Rec office regarding the procedures for acceptance of a scholarship voucher. Once you receive your signed voucher from Parks and Rec, you can mail it to us at WYSC, PO Box 3134, Warrenton, VA 20188. You will also need to register your child online at that time.

If P&R rejects your request please contact WYSC, We will place you in the volunteer hour exchange program. This programs allows you to play for a reduce club due, or free if needed. For additional information you may contact wysc at  .

Practices

The official start of practices is two weeks prior to the first weekend games. Teams ready to start practicing may take advantage of a third optional practice scheduled for the week prior to the official start of practices. 

Teams in U8 and older will practice at least once a week for one hour each session.  Practices will be on fields throughout Fauquier County.  Coaches may select the day and time of practices.  If you have a day that you are unable to practice please note it in the comments during registration.

Games

In-House Games will start the weekend of August 29/30, 2020*. The season consists of 8 games. We have scheduled 8 weeks of regular games. 

Game dates are;

August 29/30

September 12/13, 19/20, 26/27

October 3/4, 10/11, 17/18, 24/25

For the Fall 2020 season WYSC will not hold an end of season tournament

***No games will be played the weekend of September 5/6 

Divisions Under-05, Under-06, Under-08 and Under-10 player can select either Saturday or Sunday games.  Please note, teams may play one or more games this season on the other weekend day (ex. Saturday team may have one Sunday games).

Game format for U8 is 4v4

Game format for U10 is 6v6

Game format for U12 is 9v9

Game format for U13, U14, U16, and U19 is 11v11

Equipment

All players U6 and older are required to wear WYSC uniform, shin gurads, and cleats.

WYSC uniform consists of WYSC soccer jersey and matching WYSC socks.  Players can wear any shorts. Players will be able to purchase uniforms the week of August 10, 2020* at WYSC's club house. WYSC's club house is located at 365 W. Shirley Ave in Warrenton.

All players are required to bring a soccer ball to practice

Players U5-U8 will use a Size 3 Ball

Players U10-U12 will use a Size 4 Ball

Players U13 and older will use a Size 5 Ball

All-Star 

Every season we run a standard all-star recreational program where all players U8-U19 represent the club at a slightly more competitive tournament at the end of the season. The program has a special page dedicated to it HERE. We encourage every player to check it out. All- star tryouts will be held on the weekend of September 26 and 27, 2020. Players who are selected for the all-star team will play in the Herndon All-star Cup tournament in Mid- November. Click.............{here} for more info and times.

Temporada  Recreacional de Futbol Otoño

Los pagos pueden ser con  de tarjeta de credito o un cheque/ efectivo puede se tiene que pagar en la oficina   en la siguiente direccion  365 W. Shirley Ave in Warrenton dentro de los 5 dias de registro. Ningun jugador sera puesto en un equipo antes que se complete el pago.

REMBOLSOS: Deben solicitarse utilizando nuestro formulario de solicitud de rembolso para el 31 de Julio para la temporada de Otoño y todos los rembolsos sin importar cual sea la razon por la que se cobra una tarifa de procesamiento de $25 no se otorgaran rembolsos despues del 31 de Julio 2019 para la temporada de Otoño .

Entrenadores

Los entrenadores o asistentes de entrenador deben deben registrarse por telefono con el fin de chequear  su record que es oblligatorio. Los voluntarios pueden registrarse haciendo un clik......(aqui) Los entrenadores que son aceptados seran contactados  con la informacion del equipo que dirigiran a finales de Julio. los entrenadores o asistentes de entrenador estan obligados a sistir a todas las reuniones de entrenadores que se les citen. 

Todos los entrenadores estan a obligados a tener una licencia de entrenador para ver que grupo de edad puedan entrenar.  

 Licencias por edad: 

    .  U8 necesita un curso de  4v4 o Licencia "F" 

• U10 necesita un curso de  7v7 o Licencia"F"
• U12 necesita un curso de  9v9 o Licencia"E"
• U14 o mayores necesita un curso de 11v11 o Licencia "E" 

Estos cursos se pueden tomar online y pueden ser completadosy se puede completar en  VYSA.com. Una vez completado el curso en online. WYSC les rembolsara el costo del curso. Los entrenadores deben presentar la certificacion completa y entregada a Lisa al correo Lgarner@wysc.org para recibir el resembolso correspondiente.

Becas

En WYSC, creemos que todos los niños deben tener la oportunidad de participar en deportes independientemente de su capacidad financiera. Si su familia está experimentando contratiempos financieros, WYSC aceptará aplicaciones  de becas de los parques del Condado de Fauquier y el Departamento de recreación. Por favor comuníquese con su oficina local de parques y REC con respecto a los procedimientos para la aceptación de un aplicaciones de beca. Una vez que reciba su aplicacion firmado de Parks and REC, puede enviarlo por correo a WYSC, PO Box 3134, Warrenton, VA 20188. También tendrá que registrar a su hijo en línea en ese momento. 

Si P&R rechaza su solicitud por favor póngase en contacto con WYSC, lo colocaremos en el programa de intercambio de horas voluntarias. Este programa le permite jugar para un club de reducción debido, o gratis si es necesario, para obtener informacion adicional usted puede ponerse en  contacto con  WYSC en .

Partidos de Futbol

Los juegos comenzarán el fin de semana e 7y 8 del septiembre 2019. La temporada consta de 10 partidos de futbol. Hemos programado en  7 semanas de partidos de futbol  regulares y a fin de temporada  3 partidos de futbol. Esto hace 10 patidos de futbol. Si tenemos alguna lluvia, no podremos hacer esos juegos.

Las fechas de partidos de futbol  son:

Septiembre 7/8, 14/15, 21/22, 28/29
Octubre 5/6, 12/13, 19/20

El torneo de fin de temporada será el fin de semana del 26 y 27 de octubre de 2019. Todos los equipos jugarán el sábado y el domingo ese fin de semana.

Las divisiones menores de-05, menores de 06, menores de 08 y menores de 10 años pueden seleccionar juegos de sábado o domingo.  Ten en cuenta que el equipo puede jugar uno o más juegos en esta  temporada los fines de semana (por ejemplo, el equipo de los sábados puede tener un juego Dominical)

Divisiones menores de 12 años  y otras divisiones mayores jugarán la mayoría de sus juegos el domingo.  Durante la temporada, a cada equipo del U12 y otras divisones mayores  se les asignará un juego alternativo el fin de semana.  A medida que el Club continúa creciendo, nosotros  hemos tenido que repartir los juegos en nuestras divisiones mayoers para jugar en ambos días del fin de semana.

El formato de juego para los niños U12 es 9v9
El formato del juego para las niñas U13 es 8v8
El formato de juego para U14 es 11v11
El formato de juego para High School Girls es 11v11
El formato de juego para High School Boys es 7v7 en el campo pequeño o 11v11 campo entero.
 

Las pruebas de estrellas se celebrarán el fin de semana de Sepetmber 28 y 29, 2019. Los jugadores seleccionados para el equipo de estrellas jugarán en el torneo de la Copa de estrellas de Herndon a mediados de Noviembre. Haga clic............. {aquí} para más información y horarios.

Equipamiento del jugador

Todos los jugadores U6 y mayores deben usar uniforme de WYSC, espinillas y tacos.

El uniforme de WYSC consiste en Jersey de fútbol  de WYSC y calcetines de WYSC . Los jugadores pueden usar cualquier pantalon corto. Los jugadores  pueden ordenar las jersey nuevas  Adidas en https://wyscsprint18.itemorder.com/.  Los calcetines y otros equipamientos se pueden comprar en el gimnasio del Club. 

Todos los jugadores deben llevar una pelota de fútbol para practicar

Los jugadores U5-U8 utilizarán una pelota de talla 3

Los jugadores U10-U12 utilizarán una pelota de talla 4

Los jugadores U13 y mayores utilizarán una talla 5 

Juego - Estrellas 

Cada temporada realizamos un programa recreativo estándar de estrellas donde los jugadores U8-U16 representan al Club en un torneo un poco más competitivo al final de la temporada. El programa tiene una página especial dedicada AQUI. Animamos a todos los jugadores a comprobarlo.
