Warrenton Youth Sports Club makes every effort to assign players to teams based upon the specifications made during the online registration process. We take pride in our efforts to continually assign returning players to the same team they played within the prior season. The following specifies how registration is taken into consideration as we form rosters:
Priority 1: Returning Super Saver Registration
Returning players completing registration within the Super Saver Registration period are guarenteed to be placed back on the same team they played within the prior season, the exception would be if a team doesn't return.
Priority 2: Returning Early Bird Registration
Returning players completing registration within the Early Bird Registration period receive priority team placement and may be placed back on the team they played within the prior season.
Priority 3: New Early Bird Registration
Players who were with WYSC in the previous season will receive priority, second to the returning players. We will also seek to accomodate special requests placed during online registration. Please note that if a team requests fills up with all of it's returning players, the non-returning players will then be placed on a different team that meets their specifications (i.e. game day preference).
Priority 4: Player who register during Regular Registration
Players who register within the Regular Registration period will be placed on teams that still have spots available.
